John Galvis

John Galvis, a native New Yorker, has worn many hats as a musician, writer, editor, and film producer. He discovered his love for the book business at age 11, when he had his first job stacking shelves and helping customers find a good read at his parents' independent book shop.  He loves a good story and spends his time searching them out from coast-to-coast and intercontinentally. When he recognized how many wonderful books do not get the attention they deserve, his take-charge, entrepenuerial spirit prompted him to start his own literary agency.

Kelly Preston

Kelly is new to the John Galvis Agency. She has been in the publishing business for over twenty years and holds a MFA in Creative Writing. She took time off from work to be a stay-at-home mom and ran her own editing service. Kelly is actively seeking all types of fiction and narrative non-fiction, including memoir. She's happy to read first-time writers.
